This Network App made by Immersion autonomously suggest service adaptations based on the current QoS of the 5G network. This way, your application will be able to smartly enable/disable its features to smoothly adapt its behavior to the current network conditions.

Description: The IMM NetworkApp allows you to easily monitor the QoS of the 5G network. When a user moved to another cell, the achievable QoS may change (QoS guaranteed or not guaranteed). In this case, the NetworkApp will be notified and will warn your vertical application. More precisely, it will autonomously suggest service adaptations to match with the current QoS. For instance, the NetworkApp can propose to temporarily stop heavy data transfers or video streams as long as the QoS is degraded.
Used technologies: Docker, Evolved-5g SDK, Python 3.10, Flask, jsonpickle.
How to install:
- Download the NetworkApp container, the SDK and network emulators (NEF/CAPIF).
- Launch Capif, then NEF emulator.
- Start your scenario in the NEF web interface
- Start the NetworkApp container
- Open the NetworkApp web interface (localhost, port 9877), start monitoring a call.
- You're done! The NetworkApp will listen for the QoS/subscriptions you want and send you notifications/suggestions about the current QoS.
